A free golf lesson will be available to the children of Swindon this weekend.
The complimentary children’s golf lesson will be held at Broome Manor Golf Complex from 1pm until 2pm on Sunday, February 12.
The session will be fun-based to give children a chance to try out golf and will be taken by highly qualified Swindon Premier Golf Academy (SPGA) golf professionals.
All equipment is provided for the lessons and its open to all children aged 5-12yrs.
Lee Hayward, SPGA Head Coach said: “Here at the Academy, we already run a thriving junior coaching programme with lessons taking place after school and at weekends, our taster sessions are a fun way to give the local children a chance to give golf a try.
“There have been many success stories coming from Broome Manor’s junior coaching programmes over the years and probably the most heard about one is Tour Professional David Howell.
“Our motto is to keep golf fun based for the children and if we can produce more mini Howeller’s then that’s a big bonus too, so a shout out to all parents, give the children a see if they enjoy it.”
If interested, you can email hello@spgolfacademy.com to book your child a place on the taster golf session.
