CAMERAS were spotted in Malmesbury on Wednesday filming an advert that will be broadcast on national television.
Filming lasted from 8am to 5pm and will take place in locations across the town.
Locations include: the Cross Hayes Car Park, the Town Hall end and also along one side of the High Street from The George Veterinary Practice to the Co-Op.
A spokesperson for Malmesbury town council said the town would be the “star of the show”.
“We believe the advert will be shown over the next 6 to 12 months,” a spokesperson said.
“Whilst it is not promoting Malmesbury itself, many people will recognise our beautiful and historic town, which will no doubt be the star of the show.
“Inevitably there will be some inconvenience, but we have been assured that this will be kept to an absolute minimum.
“Look out for some local faces and local places!”
The advert is expected to be shown in six weeks time.
