A former Swindon bookshop is set to become the home of a new arcade.
Highscore Arcades is bringing the free-play arcade concept to town with its fourth venue, opening inside the Brunel Shopping Centre.
A banner on the window of the former Waterstones which moved from that unit within the shopping centre to a new store on Canal Walk, also in the town centre, indicates that this new attraction will be opening there.
Things must also be progressing behind the scenes, as the business's website has now added a section for the Swindon branch.

On it, they said: "Calling all fun-seekers! We’re super excited to invite you to Swindon's newest family entertainment experience. High Score is a free-play amusement centre, packed with over 80 games to either reminisce or play for the first time.
"Whether you’re looking for a family day out, a date night idea or a fun-filled day with friends, High Score has got you covered.
The current opening times on the website state the arcade will be open from 10-6pm Saturday and Sunday, with times on Friday to be confirmed.
It will also be open every day during school and bank holidays.
The website doesn't reveal an opening date for the Swindon arcade, but a message sent from the Highscore Arcade Facebook page to a member of the public seen by the Adver, suggests it will arrive on March 4.
