CAR fans handed over more than £2,400 to Wiltshire Air Ambulance during a James Bond-themed gala night.
And Devizes and District Motor Club's 70th Anniversary dinner on February 4, to celebrate the history of the club, raised another £375 for the charity.
“The night was a James bond themed night with a casino” said vice chairman Amy Fletcher, Vice chairman.
“And we have had really lovely feedback from all that came along, including the representatives from Wiltshire air ambulance. Who were there to receive the latest donation of £2,400, which was raised running events over the last couple of years by the members”.
The club has been recognised by Motorsport UK, as an inclusive and supportive motor club within the Wiltshire county and surrounding areas.
It actively works to promote safe motorsport within the community and also support its designated charity, the Wiltshire Air Ambulance as well as providing training and development opportunities for all their members.
Members work with and support other clubs, and events within the UK, including supplying named officials and marshals.
