TADPOLE GARDEN VILLAGE: Notice is hereby given that Swindon Borough Council made the following orders under the relevant sections of The Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and The Traffic Management Act 2004, the effect of which will be:
The first traffic order is the (Waiting and Loading Restrictions and Parking Places Consolidation) Order 2021 Variation Order (No. 9) 2022, with the reference: ST&I/TRO/William Morris Way.
This will introduce 'No Waiting at Any Time' restrictions and 'School Keep Clear' markings which prohibit vehicles from stopping on the south-east side of William Morris Way between 8am and 5pm Monday to Friday.
A second traffic order - (Various Roads, Swindon) (Speed Limits) Consolidation Order 2022 (Variation No. 2) 2022, with the reference ST&I/TRO/William Morris Way 30mph - will allow for the introduction of a 30mph speed limit on William Morris Way from the junction Blunsdon Hill/Front Lane for a distance of 939 metres in a north-westerly direction.
A third traffic order, with the reference ST&I/TRO/Greene Street, will introduce a 'No Waiting at Any Time' restriction on Greene Street and Eastlake, along with 'School Keep Clear' markings which prohibit vehicles from stopping on the east side of Greene Street from 8am to 5pm Monday to Friday, and a 'Bus Stop Clearway' where stopping is prohibited except for buses on Greene Street.
WEST SWINDON: A traffic order with the reference ST&I/TRO/Langstone Way, will introduce a 'No Waiting at Any Time' restriction on Langstone Way.
KEMBREY PARK: A traffic order with the reference ST&I/TRO/Wheeler Avenue and Jefferies Avenue, will introduce a 'No Waiting at Any Time' restriction on Wheeler Avenue and Jefferies Avenue.
FERNDALE: A traffic order with the reference ST&I/TRO/Wiltshire Avenue, introduces the following restrictions on Wiltshire Avenue:
'No Waiting at Any Time and No Loading At Any Time', 'No Waiting Monday to Thursday 8am to 9am and 2.30pm-3.30pm, and on Fridays 8am to 9am and 12.30pm to 1.45pm'.
COLEVIEW: A traffic order with the reference ST&I/TRO/Towcester Road, introduces a 'No Waiting at Any Time' restriction on Towcester Road and Kingsthorpe Grove, and a 'Bus Stop Clearway' where stopping is prohibited except for buses on Towcester Road.
LAWN: A traffic order with the reference ST&I/TRO/Windsor Road, introduces the following restrictions:
A 'No Waiting at Any Time and No Loading At Any Time' restriction on Brecon Close (north side), a 'No Waiting Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm' on both sides of Brecon Close and Windsor Road (south side), a 'No Waiting At Any Time' restriction on Brecon Close (both sides) at the junction with Windsor Road, Windsor Road and Raglan Close, and a 'Bus Stop Clearway' where stopping is prohibited except for buses on Windsor Road (east side south of Brecon Close).
MOREDON: A traffic order - reference ST&I/TRO/The Broadway - revokes the 'No Waiting Monday to Friday 8.30am to 6pm' and 'No Waiting At Any Time' restrictions on the east and west side of The Broadway.
These will be replaced by 'No Waiting and Loading At Any Time' and 'School Keep Clear' markings which prohibit vehicles from stopping between 8am and 5pm Monday to Friday. Fri 8am to 5pm.
HAYDON WICK: A traffic order with the reference ST&I/TRO/Pen Close will revoke the 'No Waiting At Any Time' restriction on Pen Close and introduce a new 'No Waiting At Any Time' restriction on Pen Close, Severn Avenue and Stour Walk.
There will also be 'School Keep Clear' markings which prohibit vehicles from stopping at any time between 8am to 5pm Monday to Friday on Pen Close outside Greenmeadow Primary School.
COVINGHAM: A traffic order with the reference ST&I/TRO/Terncliffe will revoke the 'No Waiting At Any Time' restriction on Terncliffe (south west and south east side).
It will introduce a new 'No Waiting At Any Time and No Loading At Any Time' restriction on Terncliffe (south west side), and a 'No Waiting At Any Time' restriction on Terncliffe (east and west side), and 'School Keep Clear' markings which prohibit vehicles from stopping on Martinfield outside Covingham Park Primary School from 8am to 5pm Monday to Friday.
STRATTON: A traffic order with the reference ST&I/TRO/Davenwood will introduce a 'No Waiting at Any Time' restriction on Davenwood (north east side around the turning head).
HIGHWORTH: A traffic order with the reference ST&I/TRO/ Highworth Road will introduce a 40mph speed limit on Highworth Road from a point 208 metres north of Supermarine Road for a distance of 760 metres in a north and easterly direction.

If you wish to question the validity of the orders, or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or on the grounds that any requirements of that act or of any instrument made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to the orders, you may - within six weeks from February 15 2023 - apply to the High Court for this purpose.
