A Swindon road has closed after an accident near a pedestrian crossing.
The closure is in place between the Elstree Way roundabout and the Westfield Way roundabout.
Police are urging road users to avoid the area.
A spokesperson for the force said: “The road is closed between Elstree way roundabout and Westfield Way roundabout due to an accident near to the pedestrian crossing.
“Please avoid the area. Thank you.”
The AA is reporting that traffic is coping well in the surrounding area, although there is some congestion on Lady Lane.
