CCTV images have been released of suspected burglars who raided a Wiltshire business of around £3,000 worth of scrap metal.
The thieves reversed a white Fiat van into a unit at Beversbrook Centre in Redman Road, Calne, at around 5.30pm on Thursday, February 16.
The van had false numberplates.
Three men then began to load the vehicle with items such as copper and brass which collectively is estimated to be worth £3,000, before leaving.
A Wiltshire Police statement said: “A white coloured Fiat Ducato van, which was displaying the index KN22 LFD, reversed into a unit at Beversbrook Centre in Redman Road. The vehicle was de-badged and had false number plates.
“Three men were seen to fill the van with various items from the yard including copper and brass with a high scrap value. It is believed the items taken were worth approximately £3,000.
“The men were then disturbed and left the scene – it is possible they left in the direction of Lyneham.”
CCTV footage managed to capture some images of the men at the scene and Wiltshire Police are now investigating the burglary and are appealing for information.
Anyone with information is encouraged to call the police on 101 and quote crime reference number 54230017523.
