A Swindon teenager has been charged with the murder of Owen Dunn.
The boy, aged 17 and from Swindon, was charged with murder on Thursday morning, Wiltshire Police confirms.
Owen Dunn was 18 when he was stabbed to death in Mazurek Way, Haydon End on Sunday, December 4.
The accused teenager, who cannot be named for legal reasons, has also been charged with possession of a bladed article in a public place and is due at Swindon Magistrates Court on Thursday morning.
A 14-year-old male has already been charged with Owen’s murder and is due to stand trial at Bristol Crown Court in June.
Last week, Crimestoppers released a public appeal for information which promised a reward of up to £20,000 for information that led to the arrest and conviction of those linked to Owen’s murder.
The appeal revealed CCTV images of two bike riders thought to have been involved.
It was revealed on Tuesday that a 17-year-old boy had been arrested on suspicion of murder.
Crimestoppers director of operations Mick Duthie said: “Owen was taken away so cruelly and senselessly at such a young age and his family is heartbroken.
“If you think you know who is responsible for Owen’s murder, please speak up and tell Crimestoppers anonymously.”
