Landlords at a popular Old Town pub are thrilled it has reopened after refurbishment.
The Steam Railway Co in Old Town had been closed for refurbishment over the past few weeks but reopened on St Patrick's Day.
Work took place on both the inside and the outside of the popular boozer, and it now looks completely different.
Steve Griffiths, the landlord at the pub, has spoken of his joy that the work has been completed after suggestions it would be refurbished emerged as early as 2019.
"We are so happy to open after a full refurb here at the Steam Railway, the transformation is amazing," he said.
"The alehouse still retains all its character and cosiness. The main bar is now a light vibrant bar.
"We now serve food from 12-9pm, we will also be hosting events, as well as still showing the top sports on our screens, brunches will soon be available also, and many promotions throughout the week too."
Assistant manager Elly added: "It’s the new modern bar that this side of Old Town needed and we can’t wait to accommodate the summer and hold lots of events in the new Steam Yard."
