A post box has been decorated with a knitted Easter topper featuring chicks and eggs to celebrate the upcoming holiday.
The Highworth Yarny Ninjas have been designing colourful handmade displays for a post box in Highworth anonymously since 2021, and are still going strong now.
With Easter fast approaching, the gang have reunited again to bring another colourful feature to the area’s post box.
The display features easter eggs, chicks, and even a rhino, heralding the arrival of spring.
“We like to think about doing something a little unexpected so hence the Rhino,” said a spokesperson for the anonymous group.
“We each decide what we fancy crocheting and then when it comes to putting it all together then it is a group effort to have a go at different positions of crochet items.
“We like to think that both pedestrians and people travelling by car or bus can see something.”
Both Halloween and Valentine’s Day were celebrated by the talented bunch recently with the group knitting a large tarantula and an arrowed heart a message of “true love” respectively.
The group's spokesperson added: "We are back at planning for the next topper and its going to be a summer one!"
