A new cafe in Swindon Town centre is quickly taking shape.
Boswells Cafe has called the Brunel Shopping Centre home for years, but recently announced it would be the latest in a string of businesses to depart the area for pastures new.
The company, which turned 50 last year, is relocating the Swindon town centre branch to the former Forces Support charity store on Regent Street, which many will remember as former Next store.
Construction workers started getting the new cafe together in February, and photos show that a lot of progress has been made to get the store opened before Easter as hoped.
Boswells' managing director Nick Burn said he was very pleased with the progress.
"The cafe build is still on track for a pre-Easter opening," he said.
"The shopfitters have been working extremely hard to create what we believe will be a very special-looking cafe.
New furniture will be arriving at the store on Monday and from there the finishing touches will be made.
"We are all pushing hard to start our new chapter in Swindon," Nick added.
The existing store, which has been inside the Brunel since 1978, will remain open until the new one is ready, and then staff will transfer to the new location.
