A major road in Wiltshire has been closed due to an emergency incident currently unfolding.
Police have closed a section of the A36 northbound near Warminster on Sunday afternoon after being alerted to an ongoing issue.
The incident regards safety concerns over an individual in the area.
Google Maps shows the road closure to be affecting the surrounding roads with traffic.
Wiltshire Police have asked people to avoid the area whilst the incident is dealt with.
A spokesman said: "We've closed a section of the A36 northbound near Warminster due to a concern for the safety of an individual in the area.
"Please avoid the area whilst the incident is dealt with. Thank you."
