A driver has been reported after miraculously making it all the way to Wiltshire from Birmingham despite driving a dangerous car with multiple defects.
Police pulled over the banged-up motor last week because it looked worse for wear, but when officers were able to fully inspect it they noticed a number of issues.
Posting about the incident on the Wiltshire Specialist Operations Twitter page, which provides updates on the county's Roads Policing Unit, Wiltshire Police revealed that the vehicle was running on a tyre that had been cut open by its own wheel arch.
It also had an exhaust that was scraping along the floor, and a huge crack in the windscreen, with police adding that these were just some of the many issues found.
The full tweet said: "RPU stopped this vehicle, that had travelled back from Birmingham.
"Ply cord exposed thanks to the wheel arch cutting open the tyre, the exhaust scraping along the floor and a cracked windscreen to name a few of the issues. Vehicle prohibited, driver reported."
