A woman has been seriously injured following a crash in Wiltshire.

Emergency services responded to the scene of the crash on Tuesday morning at the B3102 close to Royal Wootton Bassett and closed the road for several hours 

Now a spokesperson for Wiltshire Police has provided an update and confirmed that one person was hospitalised following the incident.

They said: “Shortly before 10.10am we responded to a two-vehicle RTC on the A3102 between Coped Hall and Hook.

“A woman in her 50s was taken to hospital with serious injuries.

“The road was closed to allow for recovery of the vehicles and for debris to be cleared and has since reopened.”
