A man was hospitalised after being beaten up by a pair who then stole both his phone and wallet in Swindon town centre.
Just before 3.30am on Sunday, April 9, a man was reportedly assaulted by two other men.
This occurred in Regent Circus and saw police officers being called shortly afterwards.
The assaulted man had both his phone and his wallet stolen by the assailant.
He was taken to hospital to be treated for his injuries.
It is believed that the two suspects made off towards Crombey Street.
A Wiltshire Police spokesperson said: “We are appealing for witnesses following an assault and robbery in Regent Circus, Swindon in the early hours of Sunday.
“If anyone saw what happened or has CCTV/dash cam footage please contact us on 101 quoting reference number 54230037297.”
