THREE potentially neglected dogs have been rescued in Wiltshire
A Wiltshire police dog handler assisted animal welfare charity the RSPCA and members of the Amesbury Community Policing Team in raiding an address in Amesbury.
The group were acting on information that made them concerned about the welfare of animals.
The incident was posted on the Wiltshire Police Dogs Twitter page, which is dedicated to providing updates about the force's police pooches.
In a tweet, a spokesperson said: "In conjunction with the @RSPCA_official and Amesbury Community Police Officers, one of our handlers attended an address and assisted in the seizure of three dogs due to concerns around their welfare.
"We work closely with our partner agencies in the fight to protect animals!"
