Swindon is home to plenty of restaurants and places to eat but which ones did Tripadvisor reviewers rate best?

The town’s top eateries have been ranked by travel website Tripadvisor based on the average score of reviews they received from the site’s users.

The top eight all received impressive average rankings of four-out-of-five or higher, but only one can be crowned the best place to eat in Swindon.

8. The Bakers Arms

Despite not being a restaurant, The Bakers Arms made it onto Tripadvisor’s list of the best places to eat in the town.

Located in Badbury, the pub has been praised by reviewers for its “food and ambience” and claims to serve the “finest fish and chips in southern England.”

Just missing out on the top three, Greek Olive serves Greek and Mediterranean cuisine next to GWR Park on Faringdon Road.

Reviewers called the food “incredible” and “incredibly reasonably priced”, but it wasn’t enough for a place on the podium.
