Drug dealers in Swindon have been spotted brazenly using social media to advertise drugs for sale.
Posts on Twitter include pictures of drugs, as well as details of what items are on sale.
One dealer, by the name of Dave, offers "delivery within hours in Swindon", and "top grade" products including weed, cocaine, edibles, magic mushrooms, steroids and MDMA.
It also includes ways of getting in touch with him by phone, WhatsApp, Telegram, and Snapchat.
Sentences for supplying a Class C drug, such as steroids, can result in those convicted receiving jail terms of up to 14 years.
Meanwhile, the maximum sentence for supplying a Class A drug, such as cocaine, is life.
Other dealers take a similar approach but advertise in a plethora of cities beyond Swindon as well.
A dealer by the name of 'Mark' for instance is marketing in places from London to Swansea to Peterborough.
In response to this, the Government previously said: "We are working with law enforcement to remove posts which advertise illegal drugs and to crack down on criminal dealers who supply banned substances to our communities.
"We have also introduced the Online Safety Bill, which will require internet companies to identify and remove the most serious illegal content online, including content relating to the sale of illegal drugs."
Wiltshire Police were approached for comment. A spokesperson said the force is working on police activity around this issue.
