Two people have been arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to murder after the shooting of a 17-year-old boy in Swindon.
Officers took a man and a woman - both in their 40s - into custody on Friday morning.
Meanwhile, detectives were granted more time to question a 40-year-old man who was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder on Wednesday.
These latest developments come after a teenager suffered potentially life-changing injuries on Odstock Road in Penhill in the early hours of Monday morning.
The victim of the shooting was airlifted to hospital and his wounds are still being treated.
Meanwhile, forensic investigation teams examined gardens near the scene of the crime and police patrols were increased in the area.
A Wiltshire Police spokesman said: "Extensive enquiries continue, with the investigation team continuing to appeal for more information from the public.
"We would especially ask that anyone with CCTV, doorbell cameras, or dash cam footage taken from the evening of Sunday 23 April into the morning of Monday April 24 should contact us as a matter of urgency by calling 101 and quoting log 54230042679.
"You can also leave information without giving your name by calling Crimestoppers on 080 555111."
