A bright yellow scooter has been stolen and then deliberately damaged by thieves.
Wiltshire Police are now trying to track down two suspects who stole the distinctive vehicle from the Lawn area of Swindon on Saturday, April 15.
The theft of the yellow Piaggio Vespa occurred sometime between 11pm and 11.20am on the following day and was carried out by two people.
The bike has since been recovered but has been deliberately damaged, with the ignition barrel removed and the front panel damaged.
A spokesperson for Wiltshire Police said: "We are hoping to find anyone involved in the theft and the criminal damage caused to the bike."
To help, police have provided a rough idea of the route the culprits may have taken after stealing the bike, which suggests they travelled from Buckingham Road onto a public footpath before then exiting onto Braemer Close.
"We have attached a picture of the damaged bike and the route potentially taken by the suspects to steal the bike. It is thought they went back the way they came," the spokesperson added.
"If you can help, please contact us on 101 quoting reference 54230039799."
