A Swindon supermarket was forced to close unexpectedly on Saturday.
The Tesco Express on Cheney Manor Road in Rodbourne had to stop trading early on Saturday afternoon after the building lost power.
The store, which is one of the newest to open in Swindon after replacing a long-standing Co-op, is believed to have closed just after 2pm, and has since been now properly shut up.
It was open again on Sunday morning.
A spokesperson from Tesco said at the time: “We can confirm our Cheney Manor Road Express is closed due to a technical issue. Our maintenance team is on-site and we hope to have the store open again as soon as possible."
The issue appears to be isolated entirely to the Tesco building as the Scottish and Southern Electric power track tool shows no active outages in Swindon.
After a brief period of closure caused by the transition from Co-op to Tesco, the store in the Swindon suburb opened in February this year.
The store's manager cut the ribbon and there was a balloon arch and locals queued outside in the early morning to be among the first to get a glimpse of the new facility.
