Train services to and from Swindon have been impacted after a person was hit by a train.
The GWR Help Twitter account confirmed that services from Bristol Parkway to Gloucester, Cheltenham and Swindon may be delayed and commuters should expect disruption.
The full tweet said: "Due to the emergency services dealing with an incident between Bristol Parkway and Cheltenham Spa, all lines are blocked. Train services between Swindon and Cheltenham Spa via Gloucester may be delayed. Disruption is expected until 18:00."
The travel alert section of the GWR website confirmed there had been cancellations to services between Bristol and Cheltenham Spa and Gloucester.
The rail service's Journey Check tool confirmed that the 5.40pm train from Bristol Parkway to Swansea, which stops at Swindon, had been delayed 'by a person being hit by a train'.
A spokesperson from GWR confirmed that a person had been struck but Swindon services had not really been affected.
They also confirmed the incident was closer to Gloucester and involved a train from another service, CrossCountry Trains.
In a statement on their website, a CrossCountry trains spokesperson wrote: "Due to the emergency services dealing with an incident between Bristol Parkway and Cheltenham Spa all lines are blocked.

All lines are currently closed whilst they attend to the scene, trains between these stations may be cancelled, delayed or diverted.
In an additional statement on its website, a National Rail spokesperson added: "The emergency services are dealing with an incident between Bristol Parkway / Swindon and Cheltenham Spa. All lines are currently closed whilst they attend to the scene, trains between these stations may be cancelled, delayed or diverted.
"Disruption is expected until 7pm."
It is not yet known what the status of the person who was hit is.
