With bin collections due on the May Day bank holiday, many living in the town will be wondering what will be happening with their rubbish.
But Swindon Borough Council has confirmed that while many of us will be enjoying a day off of work on May 1, the town's binmen will be out in force fulfilling their collection obligations.
In an update provided on its Twitter account, the council confirmed there would be no change to waste and recycling collections in Swindon, and that crews would be operating as normal.
It said: "Crews will be out collecting waste and recycling as usual tomorrow.
"If you’re due to receive a collection then please leave your waste and recycling out by 6.30am on your collection day."
