A PIZZA restaurant in Swindon has been left untouched since its sudden closure just before Christmas.
A WhatsApp message seen by the Adver to staff at the eatery said: "It is with great sadness that I have to inform you that this morning I have found out that the Swindon restaurant and some of the other sites are being closed with immediate effect."
In the following week, staff were allowed back in temporarily to collect any belongings that may have been left behind, and any food stock was removed.
But months later, new photos show that the rest of the restaurant remains completely untouched.
Decorations that had been put up by staff for the festive season that never happened including a now-collapsed Christmas tree made out of stacked pizza boxes can still be seen.
All of the restaurant's furniture is still inside, and the tables are even set, with menus, cutlery and glasses still on them.
A sign on the door simply says: "We are closed today, sorry for the inconvenience."
