A man has been arrested after reports he attempted to drag a passing woman into his car while partially undressed.
The suspect, who is alleged to have not been wearing trousers at the time, is said to have tried to pull a female member of the public inside his car against her will while she was walking in St Andrews Ridge on April 27.
Wiltshire Police has confirmed this was reported to them at the time and it has since launched an investigation.
The force has now confirmed that a man in his 30s from Swindon has been arrested in connection with the incident.
A spokesperson from Wiltshire Police said on Tuesday: "I can confirm that we have arrested a man on suspicion of indecent exposure and common assault following an incident in Swindon shortly before midnight on April 27.
"The man, aged in his 30s from Swindon, has been bailed while enquiries continue."
