An empty store in the middle of Swindon appears to be the home of a brand new burger restaurant.
A banner has been placed over a now-abandoned property on Regent Street advertising the new Andover-based eatery Stax and Snax is on its way.
The banner advertises 'eat in', 'takeout' and 'delivery' and has logos for all of the major food delivery companies like Deliveroo, Just Eat, and Uber Eats.
It also says 'Breakfast now served' and 'From £5 deals."
Facebook and Instagram pages for @StaxSnax are also being advertised but do not seem to currently exist.
However, Social media handles do exist for StaxandSnax, which seem to be the social media pages for the Andover-based restaurant, which offers different types of burgers, chicken, and milkshakes, among other things.
Members of the public have recently reported seeing work being done on the building, which had previously been the site of a cannabis factory until it was busted by police in September 2022.
The Adver has messaged the Facebook and Instagram pages for the Andover restaurant to confirm the new store opening in Swindon but has not received a response.
Attempts to call the telephone number listed for the business also fell flat as it did not connect.
