A royal visitor will attend a street party in Swindon during this weekend's Coronation festivities.
Buckingham Palace has revealed which members of the royal family will take part in Big Lunch and Big Help Out events that are being held throughout the upcoming bank holiday.
A palace spokesperson said the lunches will take place from Saturday to Monday “in a nationwide act of celebration and friendship”.
On Sunday, the Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh will attend a big lunch in Cranleigh as Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie attend another in Windsor.
Meanwhile, in Swindon, Princess Anne and Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence will join one of the community street parties being held in the borough, though which one will have the honour of their presence is not yet known.
The couple will then go to Gloucester Cathedral on Monday to attend a civic service recognising local volunteers as part of the Big Help Out initiative.
The palace spokesperson added that, according to the latest polling, an estimated 6.5 million people say they are planning to take part in the Big Help Out, ranging from community litter picks to signing up for longer-term volunteering opportunities with a wide range of charities.
