THE beautiful Arts and Crafts gardens at Grade II listed Whatley Manor are opening to the public next month.
The 12 acres of English country garden with different rooms based on colour, scent or style were created in the 1920s to a design by architect Septimus Warwick.
Now a five star hotel, it features a wildflower meadow, greenhouses, a herbaceous garden, a rose garden and even a hot garden inspired by tropical climates.
It is at Easton Grey and is open between 2pm and 6pm on June 7. Admission is £8.50 for adults. Refreshments are served in the loggia garden. Dogs must be on leads. Visit ngs.org.uk for details.
