One of Swindon's busiest roads has been closed by a traffic accident.
The A420 has been shut in both directions between Thornhill Road and Old Vicarage Lane.
Police alerted motorists to the closure at 9pm and the main road was still closed at around 11.45pm.
A spokesman added: "Please be aware that the A420 near South Marston is currently blocked in both directions due to a road traffic collision.
"A closure is being put in place near the Gablecross Roundabout and on the other side of the RTC near Old Vicarage Lane.
"Drivers are urged to avoid the area."
Traffic reports indicate that the road reopened just after midnight on Saturday morning.
