A woman in her 20s has been left with serious injuries after she was the victim of a “hit and run” in Swindon.
The woman was hit from behind by a car in Mannington Lane, on the night of Friday, May 12, between 11.30pm and midnight, police said.
The driver, who is described as a white male in his 40s with dark brown hair, stopped and asked the injured woman if she wanted an ambulance before leaving the scene.
She was left with serious injuries to her arm.
Police have now launched an appeal urging any witnesses or those with dashcam footage to come forward.
A spokesperson for the force said: “We are appealing for witnesses after a woman was hit by a car in Swindon.
“We are appealing for the driver to come forward, or for anyone with information about the driver to contact us.
“We are also appealing for any witnesses or anyone who has potential dashcam footage around that time to come forward.
