THE private gardens of Eastwell Manor in Potterne boast stunning views towards Salisbury Plain.
And on May 27 members of the public will be able to enjoy them while helping to raise money for St John Ambulance.
It was built by the family in 1570 and is representative of a small manorial estate with its own brew house, granary and stables. Based on terraces, it features a banqueting house against a backdrop of woodland and open views.
There are mature palms, a restored Victorian glasshouse, and long herbaceous borders. Wheelchair access is limited, but ramps will be used in places.
It's open between 1.30 and 5pm, admission is £8 for adults. Visit ngs.org.uk fop more.
