More details have been revealed about the new Home Bargains opening in Swindon this summer.
Last month, the retailer confirmed that it had taken on the old TK Maxx building on Great Western Way, which has been completely re-fitted ready for opening day on August 26.
The 35,000 sq ft space will include a garden centre, cafe, and bakery, and create around 100 new jobs.
Now, the budget-friendly brand has applied to Swindon Borough Council for a premises licence.
The application proposes allowing the store to supply alcohol to customers for 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
The official opening hours are yet to be revealed by the company.
Any representations by a responsible authority or any other person regarding this application must be received in writing, stating the grounds for representations, to the address of Licensing Authority, Swindon Borough Council, Wat Tyler West Floor 5, Beckhampton Street, Swindon SN1 2JH or by email to licensing@swindon.gov.uk by June 15, 2023.
The register of Swindon Borough Council and the record of the application may be inspected at the above address between 9am and 4.30pm Monday to Friday.
It is an offence knowingly or recklessly to make a false statement in connection with an application. The fine for which a person is liable on summary conviction for the offence is unlimited.
