A store selling trainers at Swindon's Designer Outlet is set to close soon.
In the last few weeks, shoppers have noticed the Converse store getting emptier and emptier with the number of products on its shelves dwindling, leading many to speculate that it might be closing.
And now it has been revealed the fashion brand famous for Chuck Taylors is closing ithe shop permanently.
This will mean that Converse's dedicated stores in the UK will reduce from three to two, with the Cheshire Oaks store and the London Wembley store remaining.
Staff at the store have confirmed the closure to members of the public and have told them that the last chance to get discount trainers from there - at least from the stock left in the store - will be June 16.
This follows news that Mountain Warehouse will also be closing at the shopping destination, although the camping and outdoor store will be reopening in a different part of the Outlet in a larger unit than the one it currently occupies.
McArthur Glen, which runs the Designer Outlet, and Converse have been approached for comment.
