An industrial estate has been left without electricity after a power cut.
The Whitehill Industrial Estate in Royal Wootton Bassett has been without power since approximately 11.30pm on Sunday evening with a large part of the wider area affected.
Scottish and Southern Electricity Networks (SSEN) engineers are currently on site and are aiming to restore power later this afternoon.
A live power map provided by the company shows a large section of Royal Wootton Bassett to be completely in red, highlighting the outage.
An SSEN spokesperson said: “We are working to repair an underground fault in the Whitehill Lane area affecting 23 customers.
“SSEN was alerted to the fault at 11:30pm on Sunday, June 11, and engineers have been on site since 6.50am, working to repair the fault and restore customer supplies.
“All affected customers have been offered welfare provisions to help them during this time and their supplies are expected to be restored around 4pm today.
“SSEN apologises to customers for any inconvenience this interruption to supplies has caused and tanks customers for their patience while they work to safely repair the networks.”
