A Swindon multimillionaire has gifted his wife a brand new Ferrari - just weeks after purchasing a Lamborghini for himself.
Matt Fiddes made a name for himself when he was pop legend Michael Jackson’s bodyguard, before he set up his own martial arts school.
The 44-year-old is living the high life and has not been afraid to make lavish purchases in recent months, buying a Lamborghini for himself in May.
He has now celebrated he and wife Moniqe’s 11th wedding anniversary by buying her a brand new Ferrari.
“I have had every car throughout my life but why shouldn’t my wife experience what I have and have a supercar for herself,” said Matt.
“She works just as hard and maintains our mansion by herself and the kids, allowing me to work as we don’t have cleaners.
“She grew up with nothing in South Africa so she should enjoy our success just as much as me because without her, my business couldn’t grow as much as it has.”
Although Matt has recently got his hands on the Lamborghini Aventador, he still plans to occasionally use his wife’s new wheels too.
“It felt unfair as I have a supercar but she should have one too as she has made a lot through her property portfolio.
“It is strictly hers but I’ll use it occasionally as it is better for the longer drives rather than the Lambo.
“I can actually fit the kids in this one as it is a four seater.”
The 44-year-old’s family now own five cars with two Range Rovers and a Mercedes to compliment the new Lamborghini and Ferrari.
“We’ve got a big driveway for the cars as well as a garage so there is plenty of space,” said Matt.
“We bought the house for half a million and now it is worth well over two million.”
Matt is not without his critics though and the multimillionaire hit back at those claiming his purchases are too lavish.
“It is relative to people’s earnings because I offer help to people as they are struggling,” he said.
“I am very accessible for people to help them out and I even gave away £10,000 to a business owner recently.
“Things have changed now as we don’t need Martin Lewis the money saving expert, they need a money making expert and that’s me.
“You don’t have to struggle at times like this, you have to earn your way out of the recession and I am hoping it will motivate others to earn more money.”
