Police stopped more than a dozen drivers while carrying out speed checks on the busiest roads in the Swindon area.
Members of the Special Constabulary and Roads Policing Unit spent Friday evening observing Akers Way, Great Western Way, Tewkesbury Way, the A361 into Highworth, Thamesdown Drive, Thornhill Road, Kingshill, Okus Road, Covingham Drive, Kingfisher Drive, Moormead Road, Wharf Road, and Eldene Drive.
This followed feedback from the community which raised concerns about the speed and driving ability shown by motorists on those routes.
During this joint speed enforcement operation in the borough, the officers issued three fixed penalty notices, six traffic offence reports, and one vehicle defective rectification notice.
In addition, the police stopped and spoke to more than 20 drivers about either their driving and/or their vehicle.
A Wiltshire Police spokesman said: "Our Special Constabulary comprises a fantastic group of volunteers who give invaluable support to Wiltshire Police, including your local Swindon Police.
"If you are interested in becoming one of their team keep an eye out on the Wiltshire Police website and on our social media pages for when we post details of recruitment."
To report driving offences, call 101 (or 999 in an emergency) or report information to wiltshire.police.uk
