A world famous ABBA tribute band will play in one of Swindon’s parks this weekend to aid a charitable cause.
Planet ABBA are the official holograms of 'ABBA WORLD' which have toured the world after premiering in Earls Court London.
The internationally acclaimed band will now travel to Swindon though to take to the stage at Threshold’s Party In The Park.
Threshold is the longest running homeless charity in Swindon and previously hosted a show for the public last year to raise funds for the town’s homeless people.
The event will return at the weekend with the Bowl at Town Gardens in Old Town being the chosen to host.
Planet ABBA has performed worldwide including St. Petersberg's Jagger Club in Russia where they performed alongside Rainbow and Deep Purple’s lead singer Joe Lynn Turner.
The band were even recently personally requested by Sharleen Spiteri, lead singer from rock band Texas, to perform at her wedding.
Kova Me Baadd, Soul Event and Beat Route will also be performing alongside Planet ABBA at the Swindon event.
Threshold’s Party In The Park will commence at 2pm on Saturday and run until around 9pm on the night.
Tickets are priced at £15 and can be accessed here, while entry for children under the age of 12 years old is free.
