An emergency health aid kit has been implemented outside a Swindon pub by local police officers in an attempt to combat life-threating injuries.
The Blood Trauma First Aid Kit is designed for use by non-medically trained people so crucial support can be offered to serious injuries in public spaces.
Police Community Support Officers Lee Hare and Kate Jackson unveiled the new kit on Friday afternoon accompanied with members of the public.
The new kit is situated outside The Jovial Monk pub in St Andrews Ridge.
A Wiltshire Police spokesperson said: “It’s a piece of kit we hope no one ever has to use but it’s good to know it’s there if it’s needed.”
