Police are appealing for witnesses after a cyclist was seriously injured in a crash on a Wiltshire B-road.
The incident happened at around 9.35am on Thursday morning when the cyclist, a woman in her 40s, was turning right from the B3109 Bradford Road.
Heading into the entrance road to Wadswick Country Store, the cyclist began to turn but although the van behind slowed down, a silver Mercedes behind is said to have overtaken it.
The car struck the cyclist and she was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
Following the crash, the stretch of road in question remains closed while officers carry out enquiries.
A Wiltshire Police spokesperson said: “Any witnesses to the collision or anyone who may have dash cam are asked to contact the serious collision investigation team on 01225 694597 quoting log number 68 of today’s date.”
