Police have been lying in wait for speeding drivers after concerns were raised in a residential area of Swindon.
Stratton residents have reported concerns about motorists speeding through residential areas to police in recent weeks.
In response, two police officers, PC Weekes and PC Mitchell, were sent to the Stratton area to conduct speed checks over the weekend of Saturday, July 15.
Police have now issued a warning urging drivers to watch their speed as the summer holidays draw nearer.
A spokesperson for the force said: “We've had reports from concerned residents in the Stratton area regarding speeding drivers in recent weeks.
“Speed checks were carried out at the weekend by PC Weekes and PC Mitchell.
“Please watch your speed, especially in residential areas and as we approach the school summer holidays when children are likely to be out and about.”
