Swindon's ninth Greggs is set to open at one of the town's supermarket this summer.
The much-loved bakery chain, which already has outlets in the town centre and suburbs, will be selling pasties, sandwiches and sweet treats at Asda in West Swindon.
Hoardings with Greggs branding have been erected inside the supermarket and the company’s logo has been added to the sign roster outside the store.
A Greggs spokesperson said: “Greggs is due to open a new shop in the Swindon West Asda shop within the next few weeks.
“While we are unable to share any details at the moment, we will be sure to share further information with you soon.”
Asda also could not reveal an opening date when approached but confirmed Greggs' arrival was on the way.
A spokesperson for the supermarket said: “We can confirm we’ll be opening a Greggs but we don’t have a date or further details to confirm just yet as there are lots of moving parts.”
