A man has been arrested on suspicion of arson after a Swindon house was engulfed in flames.
The incident occurred shortly before 6.41pm on Friday night when a house on Downton Road was on fire.
Large clouds of smoke could be seen coming from the Penhill property by onlookers.

A man in his 30s has since been arrested on suspicion of arson with intent to endanger life as well as burglary.
A Wiltshire Police spokesperson said: “We provided assistance to our colleagues at Dorset and Wiltshire Fire Service after a fire in a property in Downton Road.
“Investigations into what happened are still ongoing.”
