A brand new noodle bar has opened in the heart of Swindon’s town centre.

Asaga Noodles can now be located at The Brunel Shopping Centre after it was announced in March that the chain would be moving to the town.

The new noodle bar is the latest in a growing empire founded and owned by Shuxin Liu, who set up his first in Newport city centre back in 2016.

Swindon’s newest addition is a landmark given it will be the first branch outside of South Wales with other bars currently located in Newport, Swansea and Cwmbran.

The bar allows customers to watch their food being prepared and cooked by the restaurant chefs.

“We’re very proud to be opening our first England store,” said Mr Liu.

“We’re ready to bring everything we’re already known for in South Wales to The Brunel including excellent customer service, tasty food and competitive prices.

“I highly recommend anyone looking for a lunch or dinner option in Swindon to pop down to see us and experience Asaga Noodles.”

The planned opening date for the Swindon branch was originally set for mid-April but after some delays the restaurant is now open for business.

Asaga Noodles' new space will occupy 1,204 square feet and is located at 73 Regent Street.
