A Swindon charity has announced the return of its annual garden fete after a three-year break.
Prospect Hospice will host the event at their own gardens in Wroughton on Saturday, September 9 from noon to 4pm.
The fete offers a wide range of family activities, entertainment, and food options while also raising vital funds to support the outstanding end of life care provided to patients and their families.
Those attending can expect a line-up of live entertainment throughout the day, food provided by the hospice’s catering team, games, stalls and a raffle.
"We are absolutely delighted to bring back our annual garden fete." said Sheryl Crouch, head of income at the charity.
"This event is not only a joyful celebration of community spirit but also a significant fundraising opportunity to support the free specialised care we provide to patients and their families.
“It will also be the first opportunity for people see our ‘Remember Me’ roses installation to celebrate the lives and honour the memories of loved ones no longer with us.”
There will be a free park and ride service provided by Swindon Bus Company as visitors will not be able to park at the hospice on the day.
Buses will run throughout the day to and from Nationwide on Pipers Way.
