Traffic lights at a busy Swindon roundabout are currently out of use.
The junction lights at Coate water are currently out of use, whilst recently-constructed pedestrian crossing lights at the roundabout have not yet been switched on.
Road works have been ongoing on the roundabout since April and have been causing disruption to traffic. The road works are expected to continue until September.
The reason for the roadworks is to create a toucan crossing across Queens Drive and to create what the council says will be easier access to Coate Water country park.
It includes filling two underpasses which members of the public had been concerned about despite the underpasses regularly being flooded.
Thames Water had fixed the drainage issues however the underpass has now been filled with cement as part of the roadworks being done by Swindon Borough Council.
Temporary traffic lights had been set up on Queens Drive as roadworks have been on going along while they build a permanent toucan crossing. These are now built but not yet functional.
The traffic lights along Queens drive and next to the roundabout can be seen with orange covers on them.
