A police dog helped catch suspected Class A drug suppliers in Wiltshire during her first live incident.
Officers from the Trowbridge and Melksham Neighbourhood Policing Team, Team 4 response team, and Tackling Serious Youth and Gang Violence team - along with Police Dog Rey - visited an address in Melksham and another property in Bristol on Thursday morning.
They found a large amount of Class A drugs, cash, and weapons at both sites, with PD Rey helping to sniff out the money and illegal substances at the Melksham address.
This was PD Rey's first live job with Wiltshire Police.
As a result of her efforts and the rest of the day's police activity, a 33-year-old man and a 30-year-old woman from Melksham have been arrested on suspicion of a number of offences, including being concerned in the supply of a Class A drugs.
Both currently remain in police custody.
