Police officers saw the funny side after having to move a cow off the road at a Wiltshire car festival this weekend.
The animal was on one of the roads heading into the White Horse Classic & Vintage Vehicle Show at Westbury on Sunday morning.
Officers took to social media to update residents on the news with cow puns in full force throughout their tweet.
A Wiltshire Police spokesperson said: “First job of the day on route to the W H Classic & Vintage Vehicle Show.
“This cow thought the grass was greener on the other side and hoofed it over the fence.
“Safely moooooved back into its field before it caused Udder Carnage.”
It is safe to say that the force’s online followers also saw the funny side, contributing cow puns of their own.
“Herd you steered it away,” said one Twitter user.
Another added: “High steaks stuff.”
The White Horse Classic & Vintage Vehicle Show has over 500 vehicles attending including classic cars, tractors and motorbikes with live music and hot food being served.
Westbury’s car show runs from 10.30am to 4pm with tickets priced at £5 per adult and £1 per teen while children can enter for free.
