Police have stepped up their patrols in Old Town while investigating reports of a sexual assault.
Officers have been out and about more regularly since the early hours of Monday morning following reports of a sex crime occurring in Hoopers Place.
PC Sofia Anthulakis and PC Jessica Windsor from the Community Policing Team carried out foot patrols to offer reassurance to the public.
A police spokesman said: "If you see any of our officers and have concerns about crime please do speak to them.
"Alternatively call us on 101, or 999 in an emergency, or report crime online at https://crowd.in/KnDYTe"
Two people have been charged in relation to the allegations.
Nikhil Chopra, 20 of Walsall, has been charged with sexual assault and indecent exposure, while Aryan Choudhary, 21, of no fixed abode in Swindon, has been charged with sexual assault.
Both men were due to appear in Swindon Magistrates Court on Monday.
