A restaurant in the Swindon Designer Outlet has closed.
Giraffe served a variety of international dishes in the Rodbourne retail destination and occupied a sizeable space near the SoHo Coffee Shop.
It averaged a rating of four stars on TripAdvisor for its range of breakfast, lunch, and dinner meals.
When this paper reviewed the restaurant in 2019, we said that Giraffe had a "feelgood vibe" with a "diverse offering that ticks boxes for fussy and adventurous eaters alike" and gave its customers "quality family time in a relaxed atmosphere".
Now, the Boporan-managed brand has said farewell to Swindon after serving its last customers at the end of August.
The seating outside the restaurant has disappeared and the unit itself is covered up by white boards, with one sign left standing to suggest what was once there.
Redecoration and refitting work is now underway to prepare for a new restaurant to take over the site.
Slim Chickens, which is also managed by Boporan, is expected to move in within the next few months.
A job advert for the new fast food restaurant's general manager was posted on social media platform LinkedIn last month.
The chain was founded in 2003 in Arkansas, USA before moving over to the UK in 2018.
