A Swindon leisure centre will remain closed for two weeks after a major storm cut of electricity to the building.
The Link Centre in West Swindon was flooded in the thunderstorm on Sunday night, and is still without electricity more than 24 hours on.
Its operator, GLL, has now been forced to close the building for two weeks whilst it works to restore power.
A spokesperson for GLL said: "Over the past 24 hours, we have been able to pump the flood water from the building, however, there remains no power to the Link Centre. Specialist electrical contractors have been on site all day today (September 19) assessing the situation.
"Based on their feedback, at this time our best estimate is that we expect the Link Centre to remain closed for at least two weeks. This is in order to restore full power to the centre and undertake the remedial works that are necessary.
"However, this is an evolving situation and timelines may change."
Heavy downpours on Sunday evening continued into the early hours of Monday morning throughout the town and left many roads flooded as a month's worth of rain fell in one hour.
The following day, The West Swindon Leisure Centre announced it was one of many places to stay closed after flood waters had caused havoc, including Kidz About, The Steam Museum and the Oxford Road Sainsbury's.
Now, the centre has confirmed that the floodwaters have done significant damage to the building's plant room, and it will need to remain closed for some time.
The spokesperson added: “We would like to thank our customers for their patience and understanding during this time. All Better Health members at the Link Centre will automatically be given access to Better leisure centres across Swindon.
"For members unable to visit alternative centres and customers attending a lesson or course, their accounts will be credited.
“We will continue to update our website and social media channels and communicate directly with our customers as more information becomes available.”
Swindon Borough Council confirmed that West Swindon Library which is inside the Link Centre, was also closed after the storm.

The spectacular storm kept emergency services busy on Sunday as fire crews were called out to a house in Park North which had been directly struck by lightning, and reports on social media revealed it wasn't the only home to get hit.
Around the town, multiple vehicles also got stuck in floodwater, with more fire crews having to help rescue motorists caught up in the water.
